The LW story
Latam Wic began with a love for what fabric can make possible: comfort, protection, confidence, healing, and a visible connection to self. From Harlem outward, the work has grown into products, programs, and gatherings that meet people where they are.
“Cloth for Head” is more than a collection name. It is a way of thinking about what we carry, how we present ourselves, and how a daily ritual can become an act of care.
Our language is grounded in appreciation and respect. African-inspired textiles are a source of creativity and connection here; we make room for the stories and identities each person brings to the piece.
